DESCRIPTION:The Standards of Excellence Committee invites One Voice members to attend an informative Salary & Benefits session with Jon Hockenyos\, Founder and President of TXP Inc.\, an economic analysis and public policy consulting firm founded in 1987 in Austin\, Texas. Over the past 30+ years\, TXP has worked on hundreds of projects with clients from private business\, public sector\, and non-profit organizations. \nIn his role as President of the firm\, Jon is involved in managing the day-to-day operations of the organization\, performing technical analysis\, and developing strategies for clients. Jon has served as a resource witness on a variety of issues in front of city councils\, state legislatures\, and the U.S. Congress. He also served on the Board of Directors for Capital Metro\, the Board of the ARC of the Capital Area\, and the Travis County Citizen’s Advisory Council. \nUsing information from his own economic analysis research and the 2021 One Voice Central Texas Salary & Benefits Report\, Jon will address the following objectives: \n\nHow do health and human service nonprofit salaries stack up against actual cost of living in Austin?\nWhat can we expect to see in cost of living in Austin in the next five years?\nHow can One Voice Central Texas\, as a coalition\, influence more flexibility in nonprofit funding?\n\nPlease join us for this informative session. \nWhen: Friday\, April 22 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. \nWho: Current One Voice members who own a copy of the 2021 Salary & Benefits Report.
