The Standards of Excellence Committee is excited to announce that Dr. Mary Hiland, Ph.D. of Hiland Consulting will host a two-part training series on nonprofit board recruitment on October 23 and October 30.
The goal of this series will be to teach nonprofit executives how to recruit the board members you need and want so that your board can realize its full potential in advancing your nonprofit’s mission.
In the first session on October 23, Mary will be covering the first few elements of her board recruitment system. Click here to learn more and RSVP separately.
In the second session on October 30th, Mary will cover the remaining three elements of her board recruitment system. You’ll learn:
- How to identify the board member prospects you need and want
- What you can do to improve diversity on your board
- How to connect with prospects and assess their fit with your board and your nonprofit
- A few key points for selecting and electing your new board members
You will also receive tools and templates related to this session’s content that will help you apply what you learn.
