The Standards of Excellence Committee is pleased to invite you to a learning session with Brianna McKinney, founder and CEO of Bloom Communications, on the topic of Crisis Communications Planning for Nonprofit Leadership.
A Crisis Communications Plan differs from a policy that may live somewhere in your employee handbook. Crisis Communications Plans are living and breathing documents that prepare you and your organization for managing both internal and external communications swiftly and effectively when a crisis occurs.
By attending this session, you will walk away with a better understanding of:
- What constitutes a crisis
- The goals of crisis communications
- The best time to plan for a crisis
- Best practices when navigating a crisis
