The Standards of Excellence Committee is pleased to invite you to this training with Dr. Mary Hiland, Ph.D. of Hiland Consulting focused on board self-evaluation and executive director evaluation by the board.
Board self-assessment improves board performance, and strong executive leadership requires clarity of expectations and effective feedback. Unfortunately, many boards don’t do self-assessments and if they do evaluate their executives, they often don’t use a good process.
In this session, you’ll learn the five key elements of an effective board assessment process, the right approach for executive director evaluation, and the pitfalls to avoid for both.
