OVCT DEI Session #2 (First Offering) Uprooting Internalized White Supremacy, Equity Principles & The Standards for Excellence

One Voice Central Texas is excited to share that we have selected Dr. Stephanie Hawley (she/her/hers) as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Consultant. Stephanie will help assess member needs and interests regarding DEI tools, resources, and trainings.

In addition to assisting with self-assessment tools, Stephanie will also be leading three DEI sessions for OVCT members with two dates for each session so members have more flexibility in their ability to attend. We encourage members to attend all three sessions.

Session 2: Uprooting Internalized White Supremacy, Equity Principles & The Standards for Excellence

Two available dates in June:

First Offering: Friday June 11 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Second Offering: Friday June 25 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. (In place of the existing Standards of Excellence Committee Meeting)

Members may attend EITHER of these dates for Session 2.

DEI Session #1: Leading for Racial Equity & Inclusiveness: A Leader’s Tools & Habits

First Offering: Friday May 14 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Second Offering: Thursday May 27 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. (In place of the existing Equity & Social Justice Committee Meeting)

Members only need to register for one of the dates for Session #1.

Second Offering: Friday June 25 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. (In place of the existing Standards of Excellence Committee Meeting)

DEI Session #3: Equity by Design: Tools for Communication, Community Engagement, Planning, Budgeting & Evaluation

First Offering: Friday July 9 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Second Offering: Thursday July 29 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
