One Voice Central Texas is a coalition of the leadership of approximately one hundred nonprofit health and human service organizations working to make sure that everyone can contribute to our community and thrive. We represent the integrated network of human services that connects everyone of all ages and circumstances to social resources, opportunities, and support so that each person can reach their highest potential. We are the voice for those in the community who may have difficulty weathering the life storms that affect all of us.
Our members work every day with individuals and families to access healthcare, have stable housing, meet basic needs, create a sense of purpose, have the tools necessary to achieve their goals, and connect with others and the community. One Voice is also committed to ensuring our members have the resources and opportunities they need to be successful, including access to research on effective practices and peer networking for nonprofit leaders. - Identifying and promoting additional public revenue streams for human services
One Voice is seeking applications from individuals or organizations to lead One Voice members in a strategic planning process that will be completed by September 30, 2019. This request is for strategic planning facilitation that meets the following process criteria:
- Develop, conduct and review feedback from members via an online survey and/or telephone calls to evaluate how members believe the organization adds value; identify outcomes and changes members would like to see in the future; and get input on the best/most efficient structure moving forward (committees vs. more focused task forces)
- Facilitate a retreat with One Voice members focusing on the following discussion items:
- Identify, review and discuss growth and changes since 2015
- Results of pre-retreat feedback
- SWOT analysis
- Current landscape for social services
- Identify critical issues/areas of focus moving forward where One Voice can have the greatest impact
- Identify most efficient/effective structure to meet goals
The following are the desired outcomes of the strategic planning:
